Every Community Memorial resident is required to participate in scholarly activity in order to meet graduation requirements. Our dedicated Research Department supports residents throughout the research process, including research design, IRB approval, data collection, data analysis, and research dissemination through peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations. Research support team members include:
Michelle Azimov, MD, FACP
Graal Diaz, PhD, MSN, MA, CCRNK
Amanda Frugoli, DO, FACOI
Cameryn Garrett, PhD, MWH
Robert Rubin, MD, PhD
To help showcase our research, GME hosts a Resident Research Forum.
GME provides residents the opportunity to present their research. Our residents have presented posters at regional and national conferences, including the Western Orthopaedic Association Annual Meeting; the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians of California Annual Convention; and the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California Annual Convention.
