About
Hometown: West Jordan, UT
Undergraduate School: University of Utah
Graduate School: Kansas City University, Joplin
Medical School: Kansas City University, Joplin
Life Before Medical School: Before medical school, I worked as an Analytical Research Associate focused on biomedical diagnostic panels, such as blood, respiratory, and COVID diagnostic panels.
Why Ventura? When I did a rotation here, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed how cohesive the residents were and how highly they spoke of the program. I felt welcomed and learned a lot in that time, so I wanted to continue that for residency. Ventura itself is a great location with its beaches, proximity to my support system/family/friends, and how close it is to other major SoCal cities!
Next Adventure: Traveling to Japan and Vietnam with friends and starting my residency journey
Medical Interests: Cultural psychiatry, women's mental health, general psychiatry
