Women choose to have breast reduction surgery - also known as reduction mammoplasty - for a variety of reasons. Large breasts can cause chronic back, shoulder, neck, and nerve pain, and shoulder grooves from thick bra straps. Friction and perspiration under and between large breasts can lead to skin irritation and soreness. Breast Implant Removal

Also known as explant surgery, breast implant removal is performed for a variety of reasons. Some women decide they were more comfortable with smaller breasts, while others choose removal for medical reasons.

Simple breast implant removal surgery consists of an incision in the scar tissue capsule containing the implant and removal of the implant itself. En bloc implant removal, or total capsulectomy, is a procedure in which both the implant and the scar tissue capsule are removed.

No matter what your reason for choosing implant removal, either procedure can be combined with a breast lift to enhance your natural breasts. Our experts will work closely with you to understand your needs and tailor a plan to achieve your desired look after implants.

Breast Revision

Bodies and lifestyles change over time. As a result, you may decide to have your implants switched to a different size or removed altogether. Breast revision surgery gives you the opportunity to switch your implants to a smaller or larger size, or a different material, shape, or texture. Revision surgery may also be combined with a breast lift to help you obtain a more youthful, attractive shape.

Nipple Reduction

Nipple reduction surgery is performed to reduce the size of the nipple and areola. It is sometimes combined with a breast lift.

Inverted Nipple Correction

An inverted nipple points inward (toward the body) as opposed to outward. This relatively common condition can be present at birth or result from breastfeeding, aging, cancer, or breast surgery. To correct an inverted nipple, the surgeon makes a small incision at the base of the nipple and detaches some or all of the milk ducts around it, allowing the nipple to emerge. Depending on the extent of the surgery, inverted nipple correction may have an impact on a woman's ability to breastfeed in the future. Our surgeons will review your unique case and discuss the best surgical treatment for you.
