Student Nurse Internship
The Student Nurse Internship Program at Community Memorial Healthcare is
an ideal employment and learning experience for nursing students, and
a great way to set your nursing career on the right path. Opportunities
are available at Community Memorial Hospital – Ventura, Community
Memorial Hospital – Ojai, and our Continuing Care Center.
The nurse intern role allows you to acquire practical knowledge and skills
by working alongside interdisciplinary teams in a highly specialized environment.
You provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of
a registered nurse in the appropriate setting across the continuum of
care. The internship helps you refine your decision making skills in a
variety of practice areas and build valuable professional relationships
along the way.
Community Memorial Healthcare offers multiple opportunities for nursing
students interested in exploring a career in Adult Acute and Critical
Care, Maternal Child Health, or Emergency Medicine. You will also have
access to medical libraries and be able to participate in our continuing
education activities, such as Nursing Grand Rounds, Pharmacy for the RN,
and numerous other programs.
