In partnership with the YMCA of the USA, Community Memorial supports the LiveStrong cancer survivorship program. Following a cancer diagnosis, physical activity is of the utmost importance and we are here to help meet the needs of individuals in our community who are living with and/or moving beyond cancer.
LiveStrong is 12-week physical activity program designed to help survivors get back on their feet. The group meets twice weekly for 75 to 90-minute sessions focused on cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, balance, and flexibility exercises.
To register for this program, participants can call the Ventura Family YMCA at 805-642-2131.
