Alison Overmon, MD

Dr. Overmon grew up in Georgia before attending undergraduate at University of Georgia and medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Ga. She then completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the Duke University followed by fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology also at Duke University. Before moving to Ventura, she served in the United States Air Force at Travis AFB deploying to Afghanistan and Kuwait as a critical care air transport team physician, as well as working as Air Force volunteer faculty at UC Davis Medical School in cardiothoracic anesthesiology. She is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, as well as in advanced intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.
