Dr. James R. Halverson graduated from the University of Califonia, Los Angeles in 1978 with a degree in biochemistry, and completed medical school at Duke University in 1982. He completed his family medicine residency at Ventura County Medical Center from 1982 - 1985. He has been a partner at Ojai Valley Family Medicine Group since 1987.
