Miranda Hernandez is a native of Ventura, California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Psychobiology from California Lutheran University. Before physician assistant school, she gained several years of healthcare experience while working in emergency medicine and vascular surgery in Ventura, California. Miranda then went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still university Central Coast Physician Assistant Program; completing her didactic training in Santa Maria, California and her clinical rotations in Honolulu, Hawaii. Miranda is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed through the California Physician Assistant Board. Miranda believes in providing quality care through a collaborative team-based approach. She is happy to be providing vascular care to her home community.
