Rebecca Sutcliffe, CNM

Rebecca is a Certified Nurse Midwife specializing in labor and delivery and women's health throughout all stages of life. She focuses on the Midwifery Model of Care and encourages shared decision-making to empower families. Graduating from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing, she is dedicated to reducing maternal and infant mortality, closing the gap on racial disparities in healthcare, and promoting evidence-based, personalized care. Her background as a doula and Registered Nurse gives her a well-rounded understanding of the importance of advocacy and trust between client and provider. She believes in a happy medium amongst the holistic and medical sides of birth and fully trusts the abilities of women’s’ bodies, while maintain an appropriate time and place for interventions. She resides in San Diego, California and commutes to Ventura, California because she greatly appreciates and values the work and innovation being done at Community Memorial Hospital - Ventura.
