Dr. Rocco Calderone is a Board-Certified and fellowship trained spine surgeon. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and Completed a Orthopedic Surgery residency at Seton Hall University /St. Joseph 's Medical Center and complete his spine surgery fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital/ USC Medical Center.
He is one of the first surgeons in Southern California to perform the Lateral Approach Interbody Fusion (XLIF) procedure. Which remains one of his areas of expertise.
He strongly believes in patient support and that motivation is important for recovery. "In his practice, he found that well-supported patients thrive best and that a positive attitude improves outcome.
Dr. Calderone enjoys biking, soccer and Argentine Tango. Most of all he treasures time spent with his family, including his boy/girl twins.
