The Community Memorial Breast Center is the first medical facility in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to be designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. This designation reflects our full accreditation in:

Located in Ventura, the Community Memorial Breast Center is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technologies. We use digital tomosynthesis, the latest breast imaging technology approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, for all our annual screenings. As the most sensitive type of mammography available today, tomosynthesis facilitates earlier detection and clearer imaging of dense breasts.
Community Memorial Breast Center recommends annual screening mammography starting at age 40. This recommendation is supported by The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Radiology, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, and the Society of Breast Imaging.
