Why Ventura? During my rotation with Community Memorial I was impressed with the close-knit family culture of the program and how well supported the residents were by the program. The faculty were very passionate about teaching and were thriving in careers that I hoped to emulate. I grew up visiting my family along the coast of Northern California and Ventura reminded me so much of the small beach town vibes that I loved.
