Why Ventura? I chose Community Memorial for my surgical training after my 4th year audition rotation as a medical student. The exceptional operative experience, high case volume, and strong support from the attendings and fellow residents at Community Memorial would give me the best training possible to come out as the strongest surgeon there is. As a Vietnamese-American, being able to help patients in a diverse community like Ventura is great. I am also a California native, and I love the beach, so choosing Community Memorial was a no-brainer!
