Frederic Washburn, DO

Dr. Frederic Washburn is a Rochester, New York native. He played collegiate football at St. Lawrence University, where a shoulder injury led him to discover his interest in orthopaedics. He pursued this interest by conducting clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital Orthopaedic Service during his gap year. At AZCOM, his experiences as the Lead Anatomy Teaching Assistant and President of the Sports Medicine Club transformed his interest into a passion. Outside of medicine, Dr. Washburn enjoys boating, golfing, and weight lifting. Born and raised just outside of Buffalo, New York, he loves his chicken wings and is a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. He is excited and honored to complete his residency at Community Memorial.
