Jacob Mushaben, DO
About
Dr. Jacob Mushaben was born and raised on a ranch in central Montana near Billings. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Montana State University where he was a member of the men’s track and field team, competing in the jumps as a team captain. His interest in medicine and orthopedics stems from his desire to help people get back to what they love doing, as well as his interest in athletics, anatomy, and his time spent working with tools on the ranch for most of his life. He attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, and during this time was involved in volunteer work such as medical sideline coverage at local high school games, and serving as a volunteer assistant coach for a local high school track and field program. He also completed clinical research on opioid use protocols following total knee replacement and posters on traumatic orthopedic complications and medical student education improvement. In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time outside mountain biking, skiing, golfing, playing basketball, rafting, and traveling.
