Why Ventura? I enjoyed spending all of my third-year clinical clerkships at Community Memorial so much that I decided to return to Ventura as a resident! I was initially pursuing Gastroenterology, however, when I ultimately decided on Psychiatry I felt overwhelmingly supported by awesome attendings and residents. Being a close-knit community program, we have the opportunity to form long-term and meaningful connections with our mentors and co-residents. Aside from the warm and welcoming environment of Community Memorial, Ventura is an ideal place to train during residency. The weather is great and the beach is always close by. There is plenty of diverse and delicious food to explore as well.
Next Adventure: Traveling to Japan and back to Vietnam
Medical Interests: Consult Liason Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry, Palliative Psychiatry
