Why Ventura? I did a rotation at CMH during my 4th year of medical school and absolutely loved it. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely invested in my learning and were always willing to sit down and teach, which created an environment where I felt comfortable voicing my opinions and thoughts. I felt that I grew significantly during that month, so I was excited to see how much I could learn in 3 years. I am also originally from Newbury Park, California, which is only about 20 minutes away from Ventura, so I’m excited for the opportunity to work so close to home!
