Why Ventura? I did a rotation at CMH during my 4^th year of medical school and absolutely loved it. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely invested in my learning and were always willing to sit down and teach, which created an environment where I felt comfortable voicing my opinions and thoughts. I felt that I grew significantly during that month, so I was excited to see how much I could learn in 3 years. I am also originally from Newbury Park, California, which is only about 20 minutes away from Ventura, so I’m excited for the opportunity to work so close to home!

Next Adventure: My friends and I like to do yearly ski trips to Big Bear, but we are hoping to branch out to Mammoth and possibly Utah. I would also like to run another marathon, but in another country and in under 3 hours this time. Iceland has always been somewhere I have wanted to visit as well
