About
Home Town: Fountain Valley, CA
Life before medical school: Established free health clinics in South LA through UVP at UCLA. Tutored and mentored local underserved elementary and high school students in LA, emphasizing biology and preventative medicine.
Why Ventura?: I had an audition rotation and fell in love with the camaraderie and culture of the program. Residents were always welcoming, kind, willing, and eager to teach. This also was evident in the interactions I observed with attending; everyone seemed genuinely eager to help you become the best physician you could be. Being close to my family in Orange County and seeing them on weekends is also a blessing. The free food, great weather, and closeness to the beach were also huge bonuses.
Next Adventure: Exploring Ventura with my wife, hiking, getting into Pickleball
