Life Before Medical School: In Colombia, you go straight from high school to medical school, so my life before med school was being a high school student dreaming and working hard to become a doctor.

Why Ventura? Where can I start? So many reasons! Ventura is a vibrant and beautiful beach town, with great weather and kind people. On interview day everyone was incredibly welcoming and I could immediately feel the environment of camaraderie between residents and within the program. I came for a tour and was especially drawn to the friendly and supportive atmosphere at Community Memorial. Ventura is also diverse which is incredibly important to me.
