Why Ventura? On interview day, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I got the impression that there was a real camaraderie between residents, attendings, and staff, which was something I was really looking for in my future residency program in addition to opportunities for mentorship and chances to work with complex patient cases. The surrounding area of Ventura is beautiful, and I am very excited to be spending the next 4 years by the ocean and close to family.
