Why Ventura: During my interview, I noticed and appreciated the supportive culture and camaraderie amongst the residents within the program. Community Memorial is a place I felt confident that I’d receive excellent training alongside passionate residents and faculty. Ventura is also an incredible city with beaches that remind me of my time growing up in San Diego.

Next Adventure: I am traveling to Italy before residency begins. My wife and I are also looking forward to moving across the country with our cat to our new home in Ventura!
