Why Ventura?: For starters, Community Memorial is a proud DO family medicine program in a beautiful beach town near my hometown in Southern California! Then, I rotated here and saw that this was a program that cultivated comradery among the residents, faculty, and staff. The residents were friendly and welcoming and were clearly happy with their residency. Even as a student, I was respected, included, and provided with constructive criticisms meant to better myself. Plus, I will be able to use my training to give back to the community I grew up with!

Next Adventure: Enjoying the people, sunshine, and activities of my native Southern California after a 4-year hiatus!
