Why Ventura? Ventura was an obvious first choice for me. The residents and staff at CMH are amazing, and left a lasting impression on me from Day 1; I’ve always felt welcomed and supported as part of the team here. The patient population is wonderful, and the graduated autonomy in the operating room gives us an opportunity to safely master our surgical skills with increasing independence. Not to mention, Ventura is such a great town – plenty of activities nearby, a relaxing atmosphere, and the coastal location is unbeatable.
Next Step: I hope to advance my surgical training into fellowship, and I am excited to continue my career as a Navy surgeon.
Medical Interests: General Surgery is so versatile and amazing. I am passionate about Reconstructive Surgery, and I am enjoying exploring the various surgical subspecialties.
