Why Ventura? Having grown up in San Luis Obispo, then spending 7 years in Santa Barbara, the opportunity to return to the central coast for residency was immensely appealing to me. The wide array of outdoor activities plus proximity to friends and family makes Ventura the perfect location for me and my wife. Additionally, Community Memorial offers a close-knit community with supportive faculty and co-residents, as well as an emphasis on medical training, which I believe will make me the best psychiatrist that I can be.
