Community Memorial recently awarded four Barbara Meister Nursing Scholarships and two Holly Rayman Memorial Nursing Scholarships to help several incredible members of our nursing team further their careers.
Barbara Meister started the Meister Scholarship fund in 2007 as a way to show her deep appreciation for the exceptional care her late husband received as a patient at Community Memorial Hospital. Scholarships are awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate a passion for, and commitment to, providing exceptional patient care. This year’s recipients are Denise Arias, Jubylene Basa, MaKenna Kramer, and Juan Quiñonez.

The Holly Rayman Nursing Scholarship fund was established in memory of Holly Rayman by her parents, Emilie and Myron Rayman, after Holly passed away suddenly on July 14, 2014. Each year, the fund provides $3,000 per scholarship recipient to support continued education in the field of nursing. This year’s honorees are Stephanie Perez and Lizeth Tapia.
Congratulations to each of our scholarship recipients! Your hard work and talents are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to celebrating your many future accomplishments in nursing.
